How to Measure Watch Strap Size

Ensuring the perfect fit for your watch strap starts with accurate measurements. Follow this guide to measure your watch strap correctly.

A. Lug Width

The lug width is the distance between the lugs where the strap connects to your watch.

• Direct Measurement: Use a rigid ruler or caliper to measure the lug width in millimeters. Avoid using a soft tape measure to prevent inaccuracies.
• Reference Your Current Strap: Many leather straps display two numbers (e.g., “20-18”), where the first number (20) indicates the lug width and the second (18) denotes the buckle width.

B. Buckle Width

The buckle width is the part of the strap where the buckle attaches. Most of our straps come with matching buckles. If you plan to use your original buckle, ensure that the new strap’s buckle end width is compatible.

C & D. Strap Length

Watch strap length consists of two parts: the hole section and the buckle section. Lay your current strap flat and measure each segment (excluding the buckle).
